Job Description:
To ensure the facility maintains a clean and sanitary environment at all times.
Qualifications:
Must have no record of abuse. Must be able to read and communicate the English language in an understandable manner. One year’s experience preferred.
Essential Job Functions:
- Clean residents’ apartments as scheduled.
- Clean and polish furniture, fixtures, ledges, common areas and offices.
- Sweep and mop all floors.
- Collect, remove and dispose of properly all trash from common areas and offices.
- Vacuum all carpeted areas and store vacuum properly.
- Dust all furniture.
- Follow all infectious control policies/OSHA.
- Ensure housekeeping carts are kept in a tidy manner and stored in the appropriate place.
- Use all products appropriately and safely.
- Attend mandatory staff meetings as required.
- Wear uniforms according to building policies.
- All other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to move intermittently throughout the day; push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs. to a minimum of 3 ft. Must be able to kneel, stoop, bend, and stand for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to work with chemicals.
