Position Summary
The IT Support Specialist will play a crucial role in providing Level 1 technical support to all users, ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations, and managing user accounts across our domain and electronic medical record (EMR) systems. This individual will ensure high-quality standards in IT support and customer satisfaction, contributing to a positive and efficient work environment for our team members.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Serve as the first point of contact for all Level 1 IT support requests via phone, email, or in person.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware, software, and connectivity issues for end users.
- Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts in Entra ID and EMR systems.
- Manage user access permissions and security settings in accordance with organizational policies.
- Provide clear, courteous, and timely support to all users, ensuring a positive IT experience.
- Educate users on basic IT practices and tools to promote self-service and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of user access and system changes.
- Assist with password resets, multi-factor authentication, and access troubleshooting.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT team members as needed while maintaining ownership of the user experience.
- Collaborate with IT leadership to implement best practices for account security and data protection.
Qualified candidates will have:
- 1–2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a related technical experience.
- Experience with Windows OS and Office 365.
- Familiarity with Entra ID, and EMR systems is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
