Location: Papillion, NE
Pay: $90,000 – $115,000 per year (depending on experience)
Schedule: Full-time; flexible; extended hours during Tax Season
Work Location: In-Person (Omaha-based office)

ATAX Omaha is seeking an experienced tax professional to join our leadership team. We are sourcing candidates in the Papillion, NE area to support our growing client base. This role is based out of our Omaha office and focuses on delivering high-quality tax services while supporting staff and operations.
About the Role
As a Senior Tax Manager, you will oversee complex tax work, guide staff, and ensure compliance across individual and business returns. You’ll play a key role in maintaining quality, efficiency, and exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and oversee complex individual and business tax returns
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Provide guidance and support to preparers and junior staff
- Assist with workflow management during tax season
- Support client consultations and advanced tax questions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of tax preparation experience
- Strong knowledge of individual and business taxation
- Leadership or mentoring experience preferred
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with tax software (Drake Tax preferred)
