Job Description

Sioux City Truck & Trailer is looking to hire a Service Manager.

Position Summary:
The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service department, ensuring high-quality customer service, efficient workflow, and profitability. This role leads service technicians, manages schedules, and maintains strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support service technicians and staff
  • Schedule and manage daily workflow to maximize efficiency
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of service jobs
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and handle escalations
  • Monitor department performance, productivity, and profitability
  • Train, coach, and develop team members
  • Maintain compliance with safety and company policies
  • Coordinate with parts and sales departments as needed

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in service management or a related field
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Technical knowledge relevant to the industry (automotive, diesel, equipment, etc.) preferred
